About us…

Muleshoe is the home of the famous National Mule Memorial, Ol’ Pete, along with the largest mule shoe that stands 22 feet tall! The City of Muleshoe was established in 1926, sprawling with a diversity of agricultural business. The Muleshoe Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture was formed in 1951 to promote Muleshoe’s growth and economic development. Today, more than 5,000 people call Muleshoe home, there are over 250 thriving businesses, with the top 3 major employers being Muleshoe Independent School District, Muleshoe Area Hospital, and Bunge-Minsa Corporation.

The Chamber of Commerce office is housed in the new Hugh Earl Young Visitors Center at the Muleshoe Heritage Center. We welcome people from around the nation who stop to visit these historical landmarks and houses. Inside you will find uniquely branded Muleshoe merchandise!

Muleshoe’s Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture is focused on the objective of advancing the general welfare and prosperity of the entire Muleshoe area. It directs the energies of those who believe that a community worth living in, is a community worth improving. The Chamber plans for the future of the city through close partnerships with the City of Muleshoe and Muleshoe Economic Development Corporation.

We are located at the Muleshoe Heritage Center, 110 Heritage Drive. Our office is housed inside the new Hugh Young Visiting Center. There you will find Brittany, who can can help you with all things Muleshoe. We also have all the Mule Merch you can ask for. Come and see us!
